2025 SCS Program Recap
July 5th: Tragedy Ann
Bio: “Tragedy Ann is a forward-looking folk duo. Braiding organic vocal harmonies with organ, accordion, singing saw, and guitars, Tragedy Ann’s arrangements are as delicate as they are driving. Their concerts emanate “…the honesty and enthusiasm of people who can’t help but create and perform.” (Jon Farmer, Georgian Bay Roots).”
July 12: Katherine Fischer
Bio: “Katherine Fischer’s unique folk confessionals are the medicine for when our hearts get sick, served with an eccentric dose of sugar to help it all go down. Katherine is currently collaborating with Ontario Parks to bring live musical performances to their outdoor spaces. Her album "Great Loves" is out now.”
July 25: The Treeline
Bio: “The Treeline is a folk rock band that plays original music from a Canadian perspective. Fun for all ages.”
August 2: Whiskey Jack
Bio: “Since Whiskey Jack's inception 45+ years ago, their fans have been showering them with accolades, celebrating their songs and stories. Today, Duncan is joined by 2 time Juno nominee Douglas John Cameron”
